The SABC Praise Dance Ministry has ministered in various places in the United States, Haiti and in Africa.  We have ministered in prisons, nursing homes, group homes, shelters, on the street, parks and churches. We go wherever God Says go. We have even helped establish other Praise Dance Ministries in various churches. Our primary goal of the ministry is to encourage, uplift and empower the body of Christ, to seek the lost and to win souls for Christ through the medium of praise dance.

Our Ministry stands firm on Psalm 24: 7-10, Lift up your heads, O  you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory?  The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates;  lift them up, you ancient doors that the King of glory may come in. Who is he, this King of glory? The LORD Almighty— He is the King of glory.

The SABC Praise Dance Ministry is under the auspices of the St. Albans Baptist Church.  Our Pastor is the extraordinary Rev. Dr. Curtis T. Harding Jr. The SABC Praise Dance Ministry was started in 1991, under the leadership of Sis. Robin Harding-Stanton. At that time the ministry consisted of 10 pre-teen young ladies.  Sis. Robin had to resign soon after taking the position due to attending college.  Pastor Harding appointed Rev. Kalima Wilson (At that time Ms. Kalima) to the ministry. Years after her appointment, Min. Lamb-Harrington was led to assist Rev. Kalima Wilson.  She was a wonderful assistant leader.  Min. Harrington was very instrumental in the growth of the ministry.  She was a dedicated leader up until her death.

The ministry has expanded since then.  The age range varies from age 2 to 73+. The ministry consist of about 13 ministries, which include some variation of: Step, Mime, Flag and Praise Dance.
